Once done, restart your PC, and the changes will be saved.
In the mouse properties, head to the Driver tab, and then click on update driver. Select the mouse that you are currently using and double-click on it to open mouse properties. Here you will see a list of mice that you have connected to your PC. Double-click on mice and other pointing devices option to expand it. Open the start menu, and then search for device manager and open it. You can use the device manager to update the drivers of the mouse. You may try updating the mouse drivers of your PC. If the mouse is working fine on another PC, then you might be running outdated drivers on your PC. If you are using a laptop and the touchpad is not working, follow the next method. Or you can madly Google "elementary os luna right-click not working" and see what it turns up.However, if the right-click mouse does not work on any other PC as well, then probably the mouse is faulty. If my answer doesn't help you, possibly one of those will. I referred to this page and this page while diagnosing my problem and working out the solution. So as a workaround, I created a startup application (under System Settings > Startup Applications) that ran the "synclient RightButtonAreaLeft=3572" command. 
I was never able to find how to fix it permanently - supposedly you can do it in d.conf, but every time I edited d.conf my settings were ignored. Assuming that the barrier between the left click and the right click is halfway across your touchpad, like on mine, find the midpoint between LeftEdge and RightEdge and set RightButtonAreaLeft to that value using this command (with your own value instead of 3572): synclient RightButtonAreaLeft=3572 If the value is 0, basically your computer thinks there is no right-click part of your touchpad. Then to confirm you have the same problem as I did, scroll down until you find RightButtonAreaLeft. Now you want to look for lines that look something like this (though the numbers may be different): LeftEdge = 1766 First, open a terminal window and run: synclient I had the exact same problem you did (in Luna, on a laptop with a synaptics touchpad), and on the off-chance that the cause is the same, here is how I fixed/worked around it.
